Joe Biden is projected to win Georgia and Donald Trump gets North Carolina as TV networks call the final states - 10 days after counting began
Final two states are called Friday afternoon - a full 10 days since counting began in the 2020 election
Georgia goes to Joe Biden and North Carolina to Donald Trump, putting Biden on 306 Electoral College Votes and Trump on 232
Those numbers are the same as the 2016 result, but from different states; in 2016 Trump called it a 'massive landslide victory'
Trump is still not conceding but his legal strategy suffered blow after blow Friday
In Arizona his lawyers abandoned litigation, in Michigan their case was thrown out and their evidence called 'not accurate
In Pennsylvania his major law firm quit and federal appeals judges dismissed a Republican suit to exclude late ballots which would have helped Trump
Television networks and the Associated Press projected the final results of the election Friday with Joe Biden the predicted winner in Georgia and Donald Turmp in North Carolina.
The results put Biden on 306 electoral college votes and Donald Trump on 232 - precisely the same numbers, although not from the same states, as the president's victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016, which he called a 'massive landslide.'
The call does not necessarily mean Biden is on a glide path to the White House, with Trump still refusing to concede and still threatening litigation.
