1.237 tỷ đồng được trích từ nguồn ngân sách dự phòng Trung ương năm 2021 để bổ sung cho Bộ Y tế mua và tiêm vaccine Covid-19.

Ngày 31/3, Thủ tướng giao các bộ Tài chính, Y tế chịu trách nhiệm toàn diện về tính chính xác của nội dung, số liệu báo cáo liên quan đến công việc trên.

Trong đó, Bộ Y tế thực hiện cơ chế mua vaccine đúng quy định, kịp thời, hiệu quả, tiết kiệm và công khai; khẩn trương xây dựng, trình cấp có thẩm quyền phê duyệt kế hoạch tổng thể phòng, chống Covid-19 năm 2021. Kế hoạch này bao gồm việc mua, sử dụng 150 triệu liều vaccine.Hôm nay 1/4, lô vaccine Covid-19 gồm 811.200 liều do Covax tài trợ đã về sân bay Nội Bài (Hà Nội), được chuyển đến Viện Vệ sinh Dịch tễ Trung ương bảo quản, chờ Bộ Y tế điều phối. Theo kế hoạch, Covax sẽ cung cấp cho Việt Nam 30 triệu liều vaccine AstraZeneca.

Năm 2020, Việt Nam dự kiến nhận được 60 triệu liều vaccine AstraZeneca, trong đó ngoài 30 triệu liều từ Covax, còn 30 triệu liều do đặt mua. Hôm 24/2, Việt Nam nhận 117.600 liều vaccine AstraZeneca thông qua hợp đồng đặt mua, hiện đã tiêm cho gần 50.000 người.

Ngày 23/3 Việt Nam phê duyệt vaccine Sputnik của Nga để phục vụ nhu cầu cấp bách trong phòng chống Covid-19.

Về nguồn vaccine trong nước, dự kiến cuối tháng 9, Việt Nam hoàn tất thử nghiệm giai đoạn 3 vacicne Nano Covax của công ty Nanogen.
