WALB 10 News interviewed some of the campers and had this to share:
Preparations are underway at Valdosta Regional Airport for President Donald Trump’s arrival Saturday. A few of his supporters are already camping out!
The “front row joes” have arrived in Valdosta. These supporters come from all over the country to attend Trump rallies.
They tell us they’re super excited to be here.
“Glad to be here this is my 73rd Trump event,” said Richard Snowden from Delaware.
He tells us he left home Thursday at noon and drove down. He says it’s very important to support the president.
He thinks it’s great what the President is doing for Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler.
Melody Black is also from out-of-state. She arrived from Minnesota and says she’s ready to fight for our country.
People from all over are making their way to Valdosta Regional Airport to attend Trump’s rally.
Thousands are expected to turn out.
Decided to drive the 10 hours straight to Valdosta, GA.
Our Founders sacrificed everything & we take our freedoms for granted.
Every time I think about complaining, I point the finger back at myself & say
“What are YOU doing to take action?”.

Fox News added these details about Trump’s upcoming rally:
President Trump will headline a Republican National Committee rally Saturday at 7 p.m. at the airport in Valdosta, Ga., a city in the southern part of the state.
The rally is to support the reelection campaigns of Georgia’s two Republican senators, David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, who are candidates in a runoff election, which will determine control of the Senate.
After much speculation, the president told reporters on Thanksgiving that he would head to Georgia to campaign on behalf of Perdue and Loeffler. Trump’s visit will come a day after Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to make his second stop in Georgia in recent weeks to stump alongside the GOP senators. Trump was last in Georgia in October, when he headlined a large rally in Macon.
