Tối 7/5, Bộ Y tế thông tin đây là nữ nhân viên y tế 35 tuổi (An Giang), bị sốc phản vệ trên nền cơ địa dị ứng non steroid. Đây là trường hợp rất hiếm gặp trong thực tế tiêm chủng vắc xin Covid-19.
Theo BS Từ Quốc Tuấn, Giám đốc Sở Y tế An Giang, ngày 7/5 trên địa bàn tỉnh đã ghi nhận một trường hợp tử vong do sốc phản vệ sau tiêm chủng vắc xin Covid -19 của AstraZeneca. Người tử vong là nữ nhân viên y tế 35 tuổi đang công tác tại Bệnh viện Đa khoa khu vực Tân Châu.

Trước khi tiêm vắc xin tại điểm tiêm ở Bệnh viện Đa khoa khu vực Tân Châu sáng 6/5, nữ nhân viên y tế này đã được khám sàng lọc và giải thích về các phản ứng sau tiêm.

Sau khi tiêm, bệnh nhân có phản ứng sốc và đã được Bệnh viện Đa khoa khu vực Tân Châu xử lý theo đúng phác đồ. Bệnh viện đã kết nối hội chẩn trực tuyến với Bệnh viện Đa khoa tỉnh An Giang và Bệnh viện Chợ Rẫy để kịp thời được tư vấn xử lý.

Ngay sau đó bệnh nhân được chuyển về tới Bệnh viện Đa khoa tỉnh An Giang, Bộ Y tế đã chỉ đạo Bệnh viện Chợ Rẫy cử các chuyên gia hồi sức tích cực đến Bệnh viện Đa khoa tỉnh An Giang để hỗ trợ cấp cứu.

Tuy nhiên, bệnh nhân đã tử vong ngày 7/5.

Theo kết luận của Hội đồng chuyên môn của Sở Y tế An Giang, nguyên nhân dẫn đến tử vong là sốc phản vệ trên nền cơ địa dị ứng non steroid (giảm đau kháng viêm).

Đây là trường hợp rất hiếm gặp trong thực tế tiêm chủng vắc xin phòng Covid-19.

Bộ trưởng Bộ Y tế Nguyễn Thanh Long đã gọi điện chia sẻ nỗi đau mất mát với gia đình, người thân của nữ nhân viên y tế và lực lượng tuyến đầu phòng chống dịch y tế tỉnh An Giang.

Before getting vaccinated at the injection site at Tan Chau Regional General Hospital on the morning of May 6, this female medical staff was screened and explained about the reaction after the injection.

After the injection, the patient had a shock reaction and was handled by the Tan Chau Regional General Hospital in accordance with the protocol. The hospital has connected online consultation with An Giang General Hospital and Cho Ray Hospital for timely consultation.

Immediately after that the patient was transferred to General Hospital of An Giang province, the Ministry of Health instructed Cho Ray Hospital to send intensive care specialists to the General Hospital of An Giang province to provide emergency assistance.

However, the patient died on May 7.

According to the conclusion of the Professional Council of An Giang Department of Health, the cause of death is anaphylaxis on the basis of non-steroidal allergy (anti-inflammatory pain relief).

This is a very rare case in the practice of vaccination against Covid-19.

Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long called to share the pain of loss with the family and relatives of the female medical staff and the front line force for prevention of medical epidemics in An Giang province.
