The only challenge here was limiting myself to 10 arguments against Donald Trump (and one good reason to vote for Kamala Harris). So, drum roll, working toward No. 1:

10: As president, he violated his oath to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution.”

Ask Mike Pence, who forfeited his place as Trump’s ticket mate to Ohio Sen. JD Vance because Pence wouldn’t violate the Constitution; Vance would. Even after leaving office, Trump called for terminating parts of it so he could regain power. No one should think he’d keep the oath if given a second chance, especially when the Supreme Court that he packed has ruled that presidents are virtually immune from prosecution.

9: He still won’t say that he’ll accept the voters’ verdict.

And that is still unprecedented. Trump has gravely eroded Americans’ faith in the elections that are fundamental to democracy. He lied after his 2016 victory in the electoral college that he lost the popular vote only because up to 5 million people voted illegally for Hillary Clinton. His efforts to flip his 2020 loss to Joe Biden got him criminally indicted, another first.

8: He will be held accountable for his alleged crimes as president only if he is defeated.

If reelected, Trump can order “his” Justice Department to bury the two federal cases that he succeeded in delaying past the election — the Washington trial for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election, and the case in Florida for allegedly making off with and hiding top government secrets. A third case in Georgia, state charges for attempting to subvert its 2020 vote for Biden, could well be shelved if he were back in office.

7: He’d be the first president with a serious rap sheet.

Trump has been found guilty or liable for sexual abuse, defamation, civil financial fraud and criminal business fraud to conceal a tryst with a porn star. He’s also the first president to be impeached twice, justifiably. Character counts: Voters should not hire for president someone who wouldn’t be hired by any private employer in the land.

6: He’s unfit to be president.

Take it from scores of former top advisors, including nearly half of the 42 people who served in Trump’s Cabinet. The early Cabinet members he once called “my generals”? James N. Mattis, H.R. McMaster and John F. Kelly all broke with their former commander in chief. Even those who back Trump have damned him: Former Atty. Gen. William Barr said Trump “shouldn’t be anywhere near the Oval Office” and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley called him “unhinged.” Let those two shape-shifters put party over country to vote for Trump. Voters shouldn’t.

5: He’s a threat to national security.

Trump is “the most dangerous person to this country,” Mark A. Milley, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, says in Bob Woodward’s new book. He’s more likely to be seduced by murderous autocrats than stand up to them. He’s poised to appease war criminal Vladimir Putin and reward Russia’s lawless invasion by abandoning Ukraine. Woodward reports that Trump has had seven calls with Putin since leaving office, suggesting a treacherous willingness to undermine allies’ support for Ukraine, Europe’s security and U.S. alliances generally. He encouraged Russia to do “whatever the hell they want” to NATO members who miss defense spending targets. As Foreign Affairs reported: “His first term tested the transatlantic relationship — but his second would break it.”

4: He doesn’t know or care how to constructively address the nation’s problems.

The most policy-ignorant candidate in memory, Trump turned to the extremists behind Project 2025 for a blueprint, though he denies it now. Deal maker? He lacks the attention span, grasp of details and spirit of compromise to enact bipartisan laws. In a Wall Street Journal survey, most economists predicted that inflation, interest rates and deficits would be much higher under his proposed tax cuts and tariffs than under Harris’ policies. (And, no, Trump’s tariffs wouldn’t cut child-care costs.) He had Republicans kill an immigration bill to keep the issue alive for his demagogic campaign. His solution: “bloody” deportations of millions of migrants.

3: He’d further pack the federal courts with right-wing ideologues.

To confirm his picks, Trump would be helped, again, by what is expected to be a Republican-majority Senate. Again, he’d choose young nominees to serve for decades: “You don’t put old in, because they’re there for two years or three years,” he said last week. The Supreme Court’s far-right justices, Clarence Thomas and Samuel A. Alito Jr., would likely retire so Trump could seat much-younger, like-minded replacements.

2. He’s a pathological liar.

Trump’s constant lies range from the relatively harmless to life-threatening. Residents of Springfield, Ohio, endured school and hospital closures amid bomb threats after Trump lied that Haitian migrants would eat their pets. Federal hurricane responders in the South were threatened after Trump lied about the Biden administration rescue effort. Local governments are spending tax dollars to protect nonpartisan election workers. Americans prominent and obscure have been forced to get security against death threats after Trump’s mendacious attacks. But more prosaically: Citizens should expect truth from their presidents.

1. He was not, and would not be, a president for all Americans.

Not MAGA? Not worthy. Trump talks of withholding disaster aid from blue states. He assails Democrats, other domestic critics and the free press as “the enemy within,” subject to possible military action.

Finally, the bonus, a positive reason to vote Harris. She’s not only among the most experienced applicants for the job ever, but also: She’s not Trump.

A growing number of prominent Republicans have come out in support of Vice President Kamala Harris over Donald Trump in the November election, sounding the alarm over the potential dangers of a second Trump term.

The list includes former vice president Dick Cheney, several people who served directly under Trump and hundreds of officials in the George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan administrations who articulated their positions in open letters.

The Harris campaign has discreetly sought some of these endorsements, while the Trump campaign has criticized and attacked those who crossed the partisan divide — even as his latest bid for the Oval Office is backed by only half of those who worked in his Cabinet, according to a Washington Post analysis.

Defections from the Democratic Party to the Trump camp have been far smaller in scale. Trump has scored the endorsement of two prominent former Democrats, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, both of whom he added to his transition team in August.

Republican strategist Sarah Longwell, publisher of the Bulwark, a center-right online publication that opposes Trump, said the number of high-level Republican endorsements of Harris was unprecedented. She added that this lack of support for Trump — including from his own vice president, Mike Pence, who in March refused to endorse the former president — “sends an important signal to conservative-leaning swing voters.”

“It helps establish a permission structure for them to vote their conscience by supporting Kamala Harris, or at least leaving the top of the ticket blank. For an election that is likely to be decided by the narrowest margins, every one of these voters matters,” she said in an emailed statement.

Here are the prominent Republicans who are backing Harris over Trump for president.

Dick and Liz Cheney

Dick Cheney, who served as vice president under President George W. Bush, last month became the most notable defection from the Republican Party over its embrace of Trump. He said he would vote for Harris to “put country above partisanship to defend our Constitution.”

“In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump,” Cheney said in his endorsement. “He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him. He can never be trusted with power again.”

His daughter, former congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), once the No. 3 Republican in the House, had earlier made a similar argument when she revealed she would vote for Harris. This month, she campaigned with Harris in Ripon, Wis. — known as the birthplace of the GOP — in an emphatic display of cross-party support for the Democratic nominee. Cheney was one of the 10 Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Jimmy McCain

Army 1st Lt. Jimmy McCain, the youngest son of the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), said last month that he planned to support Harris and has changed his voter registration from independent to Democrat.

Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), “embody a group of people that will help make this country better, that will take us forward,” he told CNN. He added that he “could never forgive” Trump for what he said about his father. Trump has for years mocked John McCain, saying he was not a war hero because he was captured during the Vietnam War.

Adam Kinzinger

Former congressman Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) — one of the 10 House Republicans to vote for Trump’s impeachment over Jan. 6 — also made his case for Harris at the Democratic National Convention.

In a Substack post defending his decision to speak at the convention, Kinzinger called himself a “lifelong Republican” and wrote: “There will be those who accuse me of betrayal, who see this as a repudiation of conservatism. But I see it as a defense of conservatism, of the true conservative values that prioritize the common good over personal power.”

Geoff Duncan

Former Georgia lieutenant governor Geoff Duncan, who broke with Trump over his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election, spoke at the DNC convention to woo anti-Trump Republicans into Harris’s camp.

“These days, our party acts more like a cult — a cult worshiping a felonious thug. … Let me be clear to my Republican friends at home: If you vote for Kamala Harris in 2024, you’re not a Democrat; you’re a patriot,” he said.

Stephanie Grisham

Stephanie Grisham, former press secretary to Trump and chief of staff to first lady Melania Trump, captured attention when she appeared at the DNC convention in August and appealed for voters to back Harris. Trump mocked his supporters as “basement dwellers,” Grisham said in her speech.

“He has no empathy, no morals and no fidelity to the truth,” she said. “He used to tell me, ‘It doesn’t matter what you say, Stephanie. Say it enough, and people will believe you.’”

Bush, Romney, McCain staffers

In an open letter published in USA Today in August, 238 Republicans who worked for the late President George H.W. Bush, President George W. Bush, Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) or John McCain endorsed Harris and warned that another Trump term “will hurt real, everyday people and weaken our sacred institutions.”

The Republican alumni wrote that Trump presents a threat to the United States and countries around the world, adding that Trump and his “acolyte,” running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), “kowtow to dictators like [Russian President] Vladimir Putin while turning their backs on our allies. We can’t let that happen.”

Republican national security leaders

In September, 114 Republican former national security and foreign policy officials who served under the administrations of Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Trump released a letter urging people to support Harris, saying that Trump is “unfit to serve again as President, or indeed in any office of public trust.”

Those who signed the letter include former CIA director Gen. Michael V. Hayden; John D. Negroponte, former director of national intelligence; former FBI and CIA director William H. Webster and former deputy Secretary of State Robert B. Zoellick.

Reagan staff members

Seventeen former Reagan staff members endorsed Harris in a letter this month, adding that had the former president been alive, he would have supported the Harris-Walz ticket too, CBS News reported.

“Our votes in this election are less about supporting the Democratic Party and more about our resounding support for democracy,” they wrote, according to the report. The signatories include Ken Adelman, the ambassador to the United Nations and U.S. Arms Control director under Reagan, and B. Jay Cooper, his special assistant and deputy press secretary.

White House lawyers

A dozen lawyers who served under Republican presidents backed Harris in a letter published in August by Fox News. “Trump’s attempt to prevent the peaceful transfer of power after losing the election proved beyond any reasonable doubt his willingness to place his personal interests above the law and values of our constitutional democracy,” they wrote.

Former chairs of the Maine Republican Party

Robert A.G. Monks, Ken Cole and Ted O’Meara, three former chairs of the Republican Party in Maine, endorsed Harris in an op-ed last month. Trump was on a mission to divide the nation, they wrote, arguing that they worried his presidency “will follow the Project 2025 blueprint to gut programs and policies that are good for Maine people.”
John Giles

Mayor John Giles of Mesa, the third-largest city in the battleground state of Arizona, endorsed Harris in a July op-ed and later appeared at the DNC convention.

“The Republican Party with Trump at its helm continues down the path of political extremism, away from focusing on our fundamental freedoms,” wrote Giles.

Jeff Flake

Jeff Flake, the former senator from Arizona who served as U.S. ambassador to Turkey in the Biden administration, announced his support for Harris in a social media statement last month.

“I believe in our constitutional system and in the rule of law and I want to support a candidate who respects the will of the voters and would never attempt to use the powers of the presidency to overturn an election after having been turned out by the voters,” he wrote.

Alberto Gonzales

In an op-ed in Politico last month, Alberto R. Gonzales, who served as U.S. attorney general and counsel to the president in the George W. Bush administration, described Trump’s reelection as a threat to the rule of law.

“Power is intoxicating and based on Trump’s rhetoric and conduct it appears unlikely that he would respect the power of the presidency in all instances; rather, he would abuse it for personal and political gain, and not on behalf of the American people,” Gonzales wrote.

Olivia Troye

Olivia Troye, the former homeland security, counterterrorism and coronavirus adviser to Vice President Mike Pence, wrote in an op-ed MSNBC in August that she was a “proud member” of Republicans for Harris and described Trump as “unhinged, dangerous and extreme.”

“Trump wants to be a dictator on day one and his MAGA loyalists are all too willing to let it happen,” she wrote.

Nancy Kassebaum

Former Kansas senator Nancy Kassebaum — along with former Kansas state senator Sandy Praeger and retired federal judge Deanell Reece Tacha — endorsed Harris last month, Fox News reported. “This election presents a stark choice that is not easy for any of us,” they said in a statement, adding that it “requires Republicans speaking out and putting country over party when those values are at stake.”

The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s reaction to the hurricane clearly “failed,” Gabbard asserted on stage.

Kennedy told Fox News‘ ‘Gutfeld!’ host Greg Gutfeld that Democrats are “much more intolerant” than Republicans and that the party is now associated with Wall Street and the Military Industrial Complex, unlike the old Democrat party of the past.

Meanwhile, Gabbard has also expressed similar sentiments regarding the Democrat party as well.

With just two weeks remaining until Election Day, a new poll of Arab-American voters has significantly impacted the presidential race. Conducted by YouGov and commissioned by the Arab News Research & Studies Unit, the poll reveals that former President Donald Trump holds a narrow 2-point lead over Vice President Kamala Harris among Arab-American voters. This development is notable as the Middle East conflict has been a focal point in the presidential campaigns since last year.

The poll suggests a strong expected turnout, with 87% of Arab-Americans planning to vote in the upcoming election. The issue of Palestine remains a top priority for many respondents, which may be contributing to Trump’s slight lead. His administration’s past policy approaches to the Middle East, in contrast to Harris’, appear to resonate with this voter bloc, particularly as the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict continues to dominate the headlines.

The survey, conducted between September 26 and October 1, surveyed 500 Arab-Americans nationwide. While the poll has a margin of error of +/- 5.93%, it provides valuable insights into the candidates’ standings within this crucial demographic, which could influence outcomes in battleground states like Michigan and Pennsylvania, where Arab-American populations are substantial.

The poll also delves into voters’ broader views on issues related to the Middle East. When asked which presidential administrations would be most likely to successfully resolve the Israel-Palestine conflict, respondents were divided: 39% favored Trump, while 33% supported Harris. Jill Stein, running as a Green Party candidate, received 8% support. Notably, 11% of respondents indicated that neither major party candidate would effectively manage Middle East policies.

Additionally, 38% believe a two-state solution is the most viable path forward for resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Arab-American voters seem divided on how U.S. foreign policy should evolve under a new administration. For example, 41% think the next administration should focus on diplomacy with Iran, while 32% prefer maximum diplomatic pressure and increased sanctions. Only 4% advocate for military intervention.

Another poll by the Arab American Institute (AAI) highlights a strikingly divided Arab American electorate ahead of the 2024 presidential election. The poll indicates that Trump and Harris are virtually tied among Arab American voters, with 42% backing Trump and 41% supporting Harris. Concerns regarding the Biden administration’s handling of the Gaza crisis have caused a significant shift in Arab American support, resulting in the community being evenly split at 38% for both Republicans and Democrats

The DGB Financial Group from the Republic of Korea (RoK) has partnered with the Vietnamese Students Association in Korea (VSAK) to offer programs aimed at protecting Vietnamese students in the RoK from financial fraud. During an event in Oaks, Pennsylvania, just weeks before the U.S. presidential election, Trump interrupted his usual campaign Q&A to engage in a surreal 39-minute music session, dancing and standing in place while playing his favorite songs, including "YMCA" by the Village People. This shift in the campaign's tone highlights Harris's strategic focus on Trump's age, mental health, and fitness for office, particularly as polls show the two candidates locked in a close race. Trump, at 78, is the oldest nominee in U.S. history following President Joe Biden's withdrawal from the race after a poor debate performance. Harris, 59, has homed in on Trump's lack of recent health reports, positioning herself as a more stable alternative.

In contrast, Trump has continued his usual stump speeches, emphasizing issues like immigration, though Monday's odd rally, where he played nine songs and made unrelated remarks about wealthy friends, beachwear, and President Biden, added to the speculation surrounding his behavior. Despite the criticism, Trump's support in swing states remains crucial, making this election one of the tightest races yet.

During an appearance Wednesday on “Jose-Diaz Balart Reports,” NBC News correspondent Vaughn Hillyard said his team had a difficult time finding any Harris supporters voting early in Mohave County, Arizona, a GOP stronghold.
We went to a couple early voting locations, and we saw lengthy lines during the lunch hour. Thirty people waiting in line, and we should note, we did not find a single person who audibly would tell us that they voted for Kamala Harris,” Hillyard said. “These were Trump supporters getting out to vote early in the all-important Mohave County.”
Hillyard shared how he met one voter who stayed home in 2024 but was “horrified by the state of the country” so he showed up to vote. Some others he met had moved from the blue states of California and Oregon to Arizona and were excited to cast their ballots early for Trump.
When asked why one woman came to vote early, she said because former President Trump has urged supporters to do so.
“He keeps saying it, and I’ve been thinking about it, and so here I am,” the woman said.

It’s clear that in the closing weeks of this presidential campaign, an aging and increasingly uncoupled-from-reality Trump will lean ever harder into utterly false Hitlerian fan fiction. The GOP presidential nominee will keep telling his rally crowds that immigrants, including those here legally, have transformed our country into a violent hellscape in which murder, rape, torture and the rampant destruction of small towns and cities are commonplace.

Trump will say “they” ‒ MILLIONS OF “THEM”! ‒ have killed the economy and taken all the jobs and eaten all the pets and committed all the crimes. The simple fact that border crossings have plummeted, the economy is booming, unemployment is low, everyone’s pets are fine and crime is down means nothing. They’re just examples of the socialists, Marxists and communists lying to you, right?

Trump sees imaginary 'army of illegal alien gang members'

Here’s what Trump said of Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris “and her radical-left cronies” at a weekend rally/hate-fest in Arizona:

“For four straight years, she's imported an army of illegal alien gang members and migrant criminals from the dungeons all over the world. ... From prisons and jails, insane asylums, mental institutions. From Venezuela, from the Congo, all over. And she's resettled them into your communities to prey upon innocent American people. If Kamala gets four more years, the entire country will be turned into a migrant camp, and that's what's happening. Millions and millions of people.”

That’s what’s happening, folks.

But you need to ignore all that because the former president has a vision, and he’s sticking with it, dammit. Best of all, he has the solution to these fabricated problems: Donald Trump.

“When I win on November 5th,” Trump said at a weekend rally in California, “the migrant invasion ends and the restoration of our country begins.”

In Aurora, Colorado, on Friday, Trump declared: “I will rescue Aurora and every town that has been invaded and conquered. We will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail or kick them out of our country.”

I’m sure that’s great news for the people of Aurora, where police data shows the crime rate is down 17.2% and the Republican mayor says the city has most definitely not been invaded or conquered. At all.

Why are facts out to get a 78-year-old racist running for president?

I know what you’re thinking: KNOCK IT OFF, FACTS, YOU’RE INTERFERING WITH FORMER PRESIDENT TRUMP’S XENOPHOBIC FEVER DREAM!

I mean, what does a 78-year-old white guy have to do to scare the tuna salad out of other white people and make them live in fear of waves of nonexistent murderous brown people?

I’ll tell you what he has to do. He has to use terms like “sadistic monsters” and “animals” to describe immigrants. He has to say immigrants have “infested” the buildings in which they live.

He has to make things up, as he did in Colorado, like this: “People come in, they're very sick. Very sick. They're coming into our country, they're very, very very sick with highly contagious disease. And they're let into our country to infect our country.”

He has to say, “I will invoke the Aliens Enemies Act of 1798,” which was horrifically used to justify the imprisonment of Japanese Americans during World War II.

He has to say of the legal Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio: “You have to get ’em the hell out. You have to get them out. I’m sorry.”

Only Trump can save us from this imaginary world he's lying about

He’s sorry, folks. He’s sorry he’s going to have to round up legal migrants and destroy their lives and entire communities here in the United States to fix the fake problem he opportunistically dredged out of his spider-filled brain.

You see, the fact-less, white-supremacist-worthy version of America that Trump has ginned up can, conveniently, only be saved by Trump himself. So if you believe the vision ‒ if you also are seeing things that aren’t there and believing things that are absolute bunk ‒ then Trump is the savior of all you hold dear. Electing him, he would argue, is the only way to reverse the nightmare you're allegedly living.

But there is another path.

If Trump loses, he and his racist imaginings are sent packing. The false, fear-filled version of America he spun out of whole cloth goes poof. And then, maybe, reality can make a comeback. Maybe the fever dreams can break.

Maybe, at last, we can Make Stupidity Embarrassing Again.

Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris went into America’s Den of Misinformation – Fox News – for a Wednesday night interview that demonstrated two things:

1) She has far more guts than her opponent, Donald Trump.

2) Fox News remains an arm of the Republican Party.

For starters, Harris deserves credit for doing an interview she and her campaign had to know would be a string of “gotcha” questions and attempts to get her to say mean things about Trump supporters, a la Hillary Clinton’s infamous-but-accurate “basket of deplorables.”

Trump, by comparison, has cancelled a planned CNBC interview and refused to follow Harris’ lead and go on “60 Minutes,” preferring to do things like his Wednesday’s Fox News town hall where he was asked coddling questions before a room full of Trump supporters.

So points go to Harris in the courage department, while Trump maintains his “weak man who pretends he’s tough” image.

Fox News host Bret Baier was the chosen questioner for Harris’ interview, and he behaved very much like a man with little respect for what a powerful woman has to say. His questions were pointed, which is fine, and he relentlessly asked follow-up question, which is also fine. But Baier barely let the sitting vice president get a word in edgewise, talking over her constantly throughout the interview, interrupting her over
and over again.

Baier went after Harris with a persistence and viciousness his network has never come close to using on Trump.

Trump fans and his many minions at Fox News will undoubtedly say Harris failed miserably, but the truth, for people operating outside the bubble of insanity, is she more than held her own in a wildly adversarial situation.

Harris called out Fox News' disingenuous Trump clip

At one point Baier showed a clip – ironically from an earlier softball Fox News interview of Trump – in which the former president tried to downplay his recent unhinged ramblings about how Americans who don’t support him are “the enemy from within.”

Harris swiftly called Baier out: “I’m sorry and, with all due respect, that clip was not what he has been saying about the enemy within, that he has repeated when he’s speaking about the American people. That’s not what you just showed.”

Would Fox ever ask Trump questions like these? Of course not.

During her answer to the interview’s first question, Baier interrupted Harris six times, incessantly talking over her.

The questions were justifiably tough, and the vice president absolutely dodged several of the harder callouts on the Biden administration’s immigration policies. But what the interview showed is Harris can more than hold her own in a wildly hostile environment, something most people already knew but Fox News viewers willing to be honest with themselves probably were surprised to see.

Above all, though, what matters is Harris sat there and took it. She went into a Fox News interview – which in and of itself is a sign her campaign is confident and is looking to expand her reach to conservative and independent voters – and she didn’t storm out. She didn’t whine about or insult the interviewer for asking tough questions.

That’s a lot more than anyone can say about Donald Trump.

Bret Baier interrupted Harris so much she could barely finish a sentence. She still injected some reality into Fox News’s world

Bret Baier started off his Wednesday evening interview with Kamala Harris with a barrage of combative questions about immigration, designed less to elicit substantive answers than to prove what a tough guy the Fox host could be.

His aggressive approach was understandable, in a way, since Baier had been under pressure for days from the Donald Trump faithful; they were convinced he was going to go easy on the Democratic nominee for president, and maybe even allow her campaign to edit the interview or see the questions in advance.

So, Baier came out guns blazing, barely allowing the vice-president to finish a sentence before jumping in with objections and arguments.

After 10 minutes of playing immigration “gotcha”, Baier pivoted to the obvious next subject, airing a video clip in which Harris expressed support for transgender people in prisons.

Immigrant hatred. Transphobia. And later, Joe Biden’s age. Baier was running through the Fox News greatest hits playlist.

This was grievance theater, not political journalism.

But Harris got in her licks. She had her moments.

Chiming in afterwards in what some saw as corporate damage control, Baier’s colleagues on Fox News gushed their approval. Martha MacCallum termed Baier’s performance “masterful”, while Dana Perino analyzed the interview as “super good”.

I can’t imagine that too many viewers agreed. If they came to it expecting to learn more about Harris’s policies or get a true sense of her character, they would have been disappointed. That wasn’t the gameplan, and it wasn’t the result.

But Harris accomplished something anyway.

Merely by sitting down with a Fox host, she made a few statements.

First, that she is unafraid and is willing to speak to all voters. It’s hard to imagine Donald Trump, these days, submitting to an interview with, say, Rachel Maddow of MSNBC; just this week, he turned away from a CNBC interview, and earlier canceled a CBS News 60 Minutes agreement.

Second, Harris did manage to introduce a few snippets of reality to dedicated Fox viewers who probably haven’t been exposed to some of the most troubling criticisms of Trump.

“That he’s unfit to serve. That he’s unstable. That’s he’s dangerous,” was how she characterized what millions of Americans are feeling. “And that people are exhausted.”

She even was able to mention, at some length, the harsh view of the former commander-in-chief from Mark Milley, who served in two top military roles – including chair of the joint chiefs of staff – during the Trump administration.

Milley has called Trump “fascist to the core” and has said that no one has ever been as dangerous to the United States.

So maybe this was what one leading expert on Fox News, Brian Stelter, called the Harris campaign’s “Google strategy”. On CNN, Stelter speculated that viewers might hear these comments and go searching online for more, thus piercing the information bubble they’ve been living in.

No doubt, the vast majority of regular Fox viewers have their minds made up – they’re sticking with Trump. No matter his mental decline. No matter his felony convictions. No matter the threats he makes or the threats he poses.

But there may be a small percentage of the millions who tuned in who – despite all the noise and interruptions – managed to hear a reasonable, intelligent and stable alternative to Trump. Maybe some of them live in the key swing state of Pennsylvania, where the interview was recorded, or in Wisconsin or Michigan.

In this coin flip of an election, even that tiny adjustment might make all the difference.

This was right after Bret Baier informed Kamala to her face that the illegal immigrant who murdered Riley came on her watch and BEFORE any bill negotiations.

I was raised by conservative parents, but being rebellious by nature, I chose a more liberal path and assumptions I made about the Left were wrong.
I voted for Obama but being middle class during his era totally sucked. My taxes increased, my health insurance became unaffordable, my house was broken into multiple times by illegal immigrants, and I saw people divided by race-baiting identity politics.

One reason I jumped on the Trump Train in 2016 was because our nation needed someone who was not a career politician and stood up for working and middle class families.
When I began to voice my support for Trump, I received the wrath of all my liberal friends. I also saw bias and dishonesty in the media.
I have continued to support Donald Trump which means I have seen nothing but hate spewing from the Left. I think it is a matter of good against evil.
Our freedom, prosperity, safety and the future of our children is all at stake. I will never vote Democrat again, and I pray every day the rest of the country wakes up and realizes what is really happening.

According to registered dietitian Nichole Andrews, when it comes to foods that significantly increase cancer risk, there are only two major offenders to focus on: processed meats and alcohol. Despite the overwhelming information available on other foods, Andrews emphasizes that these two are the only ones consistently linked to cancer.

1. Alcohol
All types of alcohol, including red wine, can raise cancer risk due to the way the body processes it. When alcohol breaks down, it converts into acetaldehyde, a toxic substance that can damage DNA and impair cell repair mechanisms. This DNA damage increases the risk of mutations, which may eventually lead to cancer. Additionally, alcohol acts as a solvent, facilitating harmful chemicals’ access to cells, particularly in the digestive tract. For women, even moderate alcohol consumption has been linked to an increased risk of breast cancer due to its effect on estrogen levels.

2. Processed Meats
Processed meats—like hot dogs, bacon, sausages, and deli meats—are preserved using methods such as curing or smoking, which can create carcinogenic chemicals like nitrates and nitrites. These compounds can turn into cancer-causing agents in the body. The World Health Organization (WHO) has classified processed meats as a Group 1 carcinogen, meaning there's substantial evidence of their link to cancer, particularly colorectal cancer.

Bottom Line
Andrews reassures that other commonly demonized foods, such as artificial sweeteners, red dyes, or plant oils, do not pose the same cancer risks as alcohol and processed meats. While it’s always beneficial to maintain a balanced, health-conscious diet, cutting back on alcohol and processed meats is key for reducing cancer risk.
