Default Ḿ tôm đang 'đầu độc' cả thế hệ sinh viên
Ḿ tôm chứa chất gây sỏi thận, đọng ứ các khớp xương; cơm b́nh dân tẩm đầy hóa chất đang đe dọa cả thế hệ trẻ nước nhà.

Sinh viên, được mệnh danh là nguồn lực tương lai của xă hội, thế hệ trẻ đóng vai tṛ hết sức quan trọng cho sự phát triển của đất nước. Thế mà giờ đây, nhu cầu cơ bản nhất được ăn uống sạch sẽ, đủ chất, hợp vệ sinh có lẽ đang trở nên quá xa xỉ. Đặc biệt, là đối với những sinh viên đang ở kư túc xá, không được phép nấu ăn th́ việc ăn cơm b́nh dân, ḿ gói là chuyện hết sức b́nh thường.
Đáng buồn thay, những gói ḿ, đĩa cơm (nguồn cung cấp năng lượng cho sinh viên học tập, nghiên cứu) đang chứa những chất độc vô cùng nguy hiểm.
Ḿ tôm chứa chất gây sỏi thận
Cuối tháng hết tiền, sinh viên ăn ḿ tôm; cần tiết kiệm tiền, sinh viên lại t́m đến ḿ tôm;…Ḿ tôm, món ăn ngon giúp no cái bao tử với giá chỉ từ 3.000 – 5.000 đồng, chỉ bằng chưa đến 1/3 so với cơm b́nh dân. Thế nên chẳng ngoa khi nói đời sinh viên gắn liền với ḿ tôm.

Các chuyên gia vừa công bố: 100% mẫu ḿ tôm, măng tươi đều có
axit oxalic, tác nhân gây ra sỏi thận
Phượng, sinh viên trường Đại học Kinh tế Luật, hài hước cho biết: “Sinh viên xa nhà, tiền ba mẹ gửi lên cố định hàng tháng. Nếu muốn học thêm, mua sắm, hay tụ tập đi chơi với bạn bè,…th́ tụi em phải cắt bớt chi tiêu ăn uống. Cơm sinh viên 15.000 đồng/ dĩa nhưng không ít bạn trong pḥng em một ngày chỉ ăn một bữa cơm, c̣n một bữa ăn ḿ tôm để tiết kiệm. Một tuần pḥng em lại mua một thùng ḿ tôm để chia nhau”.
Với các nguyên liệu chính: bột ḿ, dầu ăn cùng một số gia vị tạo hương vị, bột ngọt, ḿ ăn liền chỉ là thực phẩm làm no dạ dày chứ không có giá trị nhiều về dinh dưỡng do rất ít chất xơ, vitamine, khoáng chất,... trong thành phần của ḿ. Chưa kể nó c̣n chứa các chất điều chỉnh axit, chất tăng cường hương vị, chất làm đông đặc, chất giữ ẩm, chất chống ôxy hóa, chất xử lư bột, hóa chất bảo quản,…
Kết quả kiểm nghiệm được GS.TS Chu Phạm Ngọc Sơn, Phó Chủ tịch Hội Y tế công cộng TP.HCM, công bố chiều ngày 26/12, khiến dư luận bàng hoàng: 100% mẫu ḿ tôm, măng tươi đều có axit oxalic, tác nhân gây ra sỏi thận.
Cụ thể, từ cuối tháng 6 đến ngày 10/12/2013, công ty cổ phần dịch vụ khoa học công nghệ sắc kư Hải Đăng đă tiến hành phân 62 mẫu ḿ tôm (trong nước lẫn nhập khẩu) th́ 100% đều có sự hiện diện của axit oxalic với nồng độ khoảng (30,8 - 449mg/kg).
Cơm trộn hóa chất
Cơm b́nh dân cũng chẳng khá hơn. Thông thường, chủ quán cho miễn phí cơm, “bao no” để góp phần thu hút nhiều khách hàng hơn. Thế nhưng, chỉ với một gói bột hóa chất 8.000 đồng, các quán cơm b́nh dân có thể biến 10kg gạo thành cơm nở bung, hạt to, dẻo thơm tương đương với nấu 20kg.

Để tiết kiệm chi tiêu, "cơm bụi", cơm b́nh dân, là lựa chọn của nhiều sinh viên
Không ít các bạn sinh viên mua cơm trễ khoảng 1-2 giờ trưa sẽ chứng kiến những giỏ thịt, cá ôi thối, rau củ héo úa, bùi nhùi được giao tận nơi cho quán cơm b́nh dân. Chủ quán chỉ cần lấy một ít bột màu trắng cho vào thau, đổ nước vào đánh tan rồi cho vào th́ th́ ngay lập tức miếng thịt sẽ tươi ngon và nở to gấp đôi.
Tuấn sinh viên Đại học Bách khoa TP.HCM tặc lưỡi cho biết: “Có lần mua cơm sớm, thấy cái khăn lau bàn rớt xuống nồi canh, cô bán cơm liền nhanh tay vớt ra và lại thoăn thoắt múc canh vào bịch cho khách. Muỗng đũa dơ dáy, đồ ăn màu sắc sặc sỡ đầy hóa chất, nhưng nếu không ăn th́ nhịn đói à?”.
Theo các chuyên gia y tế, độ tuổi từ 18-22 tuổi, với sự sung măn về cả thể chất lẫn tinh thần, có thể những món ăn độc hại chưa gây tác động ngay lập tức.
Thế nhưng, với 4 năm ăn uống kém vệ sinh như thế này, khi ra trường làm việc liệu sức khỏe họ có bảo đảm? Có quá hay không khi nói thế hệ chủ chốt cho đất nước đang bị “đầu độc” từng ngày?
