“Khi ta đưa một người vào Tối cao Pháp viện Mỹ, người đó thôi là bạn của ta.” Tổng thống Harry Truman


Hai người được Tổng thống Donald Trump chỉ định vào Tối cao Pháp viện đồng ư rằng tổng thống không thể ngồi trên luật pháp, sau khi họ bỏ phiếu chống lại ông trong một phán quyết liên quan đến tờ khai thuế của ông.

Phán quyết 7-2 trong vụ “Trump vs Vance” do Chánh án John Roberts lănh đạo, tuyên bố rằng Trump phải chuyển tờ khai thuế và các thông tin khác cho một bồi thẩm đoàn ở New York. Roberts lập luận rằng Hiến pháp không cho phép tổng thống hưởng quyền miễn trừ tuyệt đối.

"Trong hệ thống tư pháp của chúng ta, 'công chúng có quyền đối với mọi bằng chứng về mọi người.' Kể từ những ngày đầu tiên của nước Cộng ḥa, hai chữ ‘mọi người" đă bao gồm cả Tổng thống Hoa Kỳ,” ông Roberts viết.

Roberts được hai người do Trump bổ nhiệm vào Ṭa án tối cao, Justices Brett Kavanaugh và Neil Gorsuch, đồng ư .

Thật sự Lúa tui 0 ngại cho lắm việc TCPV ngày sắp tới...dù sao th́ nếu thêm một người bảo thủ th́ ảnh hưởng của GOP mạnh hơn...nhưng chờ xem, v́ họ bảo vệ Hiến Pháp Mỹ chớ 0 fải bảo vệ bất kỳ tổng thống nào hoặc đảng phái nào. Tuy nhiên cũng đă đến lúc cải tổ, phải cải tổ hệ thống tư pháp nói chung, như vụ bổ nhiệm TT Tư pháp mà lại nằm trong nội các, th́ buồn cười quá, rồi c̣n cộng thêm các quan ṭa khác cũng được TT bổ nhiệm...tam quyền phân lập kiểu mọi rợ, cao-bồi, du đăng, ma cà bông, tráo bài 3 lá này của ngài Trump fải chấm dứt thôi !

Chúng ta c̣n nhớ: Franklin Delano Roosevelt (ĐDC) với cuộc cải tổ mang tên“New Deal” vào 1933-1938 cũng đă bổ sung thành viên trong TCPV đến 9 người đến hiện tại (trước đó là từ 6-10) ! đúng vậy ! Ḿnh t́m măi mà vẫn 0 thấy đoạn nào, câu nào, chữ nào nhấn mạnh là bảo vệ tổng thống cả...buồn wá cho thói đời đen bạc...

TCPV fải được cải tổ max 12 năm thôi và 11 người là ok...chờ xem film hay...chứ mà theo khuôn khổ hiện giờ th́ nền dân chủ Mỹ 0 thể nào là rường cột, là gương cho thế giới được , bác nhỉ !

Tuy nhiên, công bằng mà nói, th́ Trump đề cử thêm 1 người cũng 0 có ǵ sai trái cả, ngay cả Moscow Mitch, Romney và Graham ngông và điêu ngoa 0 kém ǵ gái dĩ dzà mồm ! V́ sao ?

--> V́ tất cả đều cho ta thấy quyền lực của mỗi lá phiếu người dân đen đủi nhất ! (dân bầu TNS --> TNS bầu thẩm phán TCPV). Vậy hăy đi bầu và suy nghĩ cho kỹ !
