WASHINGTON, DC (NV) — Ṭa Bạch Ốc mới đây đă lên tiếng cáo buộc Đài Tiếng Nói Hoa Kỳ (VOA) là góp phần phổ biến các luận điệu tuyên truyền của Trung Quốc, do việc đài trích thuật các con số chính thức về dịch bệnh COVID-19 do nhà nước Trung Quốc loan ra, và cũng v́ loan tải h́nh ảnh dân chúng ở thành phố Vũ Hán vui mừng chào đón việc chấm dứt phong tỏa thành phố này, theo bản tin tờ báo South China Morning Post (SCMP).


“VOA thường xuyên phát biểu giùm cho các kẻ đối đầu với Mỹ, chứ không phải cho công dân Mỹ,” theo một thông cáo của Ṭa Bạch Ốc hôm Thứ Năm, 9 Tháng Tư, và nói thêm rằng đài VOA, vốn được thành lập theo quyết định của Quốc Hội và được Quốc Hội chuẩn chi ngân sách, đang có hành động “phổ biến tuyên truyền” của đối thủ với Mỹ, bằng tiền thuế của người dân Mỹ.

“Tuần này, đài VOA gọi cuộc cách ly ở thành phố Vũ Hán là một mô h́nh thành công, được cả thế giới bắt chước, rồi sau đó gửi tweet về buổi tŕnh diễn show ánh sáng của chính quyền Cộng Sản nhằm đánh dấu cái gọi là thành công của việc cách ly,” theo bản thông cáo.

Ṭa Bạch Ốc có vẻ muốn nói đến bản tin của hăng thông tấn AP mà đài VOA đăng lại hôm Thứ Ba, chứ không do các kư giả ở VOA viết.

Bản thông cáo nói tiếp: “Tệ hơn nữa, trong lúc nhiều cơ quan truyền thông Mỹ sử dụng tin tức từ nhà cầm quyền Trung Quốc, VOA c̣n đi xa hơn nữa khi dùng các con số thống kê của chính quyền Cộng Sản để tạo ra các biểu đồ nhằm so sánh số tử vong của Trung Quốc do COVID-19, với số chết ở Mỹ.

Tuy nhiên, Ṭa Bạch Ốc không nhắc ǵ đến sự kiện là nhiều cơ quan thông tấn khác, ở Mỹ và khắp nơi trên thế giới, cũng đă đăng tải sự kiện số tử vong do COVID-19 ở Mỹ hồi cuối Tháng Ba đă vượt qua con số chính thức ở Trung Quốc, do nhà cầm quyền Bắc Kinh công bố.

Trong bản thông cáo đưa ra hôm Thứ Sáu nhằm khẳng định sự trung thực của VOA, giám đốc cơ quan truyền thông này, bà Amanda Bennett, nói rằng các dữ kiện dùng để lập biểu đồ mà Ṭa Bạch Ốc nêu ra, đă được lấy từ các con số do trường Johns Hopkins University cung cấp, và được sử dụng khắp thế giới.

Trong một văn thư nội bộ, gửi tất cả các nhân viên VOA, bà Bennett nói rằng “Sự khác biệt giữa cơ quan truyền thông độc lập được chính phủ tài trợ (như đài VOA) và truyền thông do nhà nước kiểm soát, là chúng ta được sự bảo vệ của luật pháp để tiếp tục làm công việc loan tin tức trung thực.”

Đài VOA mới gần đây là một trong năm cơ quan truyền thông Mỹ bị chính quyền Trung Quốc đặc biệt nhắm tới để ngăn chặn hoạt động sau khi loan tải các tin tức bị coi là bất lợi cho Bắc Kinh trong thời gian dịch bệnh COVID-19. Bộ Ngoại Giao Mỹ sau đó đă lên tiếng phản đối hành động này của Trung Quốc và đe dọa có phản ứng trả đũa.

Tờ South China Morning Post nói trong thông tư của bà Bennett mà họ có được, bà nói rằng “Tất cả các bạn phải làm việc trong các môi trường có sự phân liệt mạnh mẽ, đều hiểu rằng bất cứ ai, hay nhóm, hoặc tổ chức nào, cũng có thể lấy ra một đoạn, một câu chuyện hay một tấm h́nh mà họ không thích, hoặc cho là không ủng hộ điều họ đang làm, để làm ‘chứng cớ’ cho điều mà họ gọi là ‘thiên vị’. Do vậy tất cả những điều này không nên làm các bạn phải ngạc nhiên.”

Rồi rồi cũng giống như Lảo chà bá ...bỏ báo hằng ngày cho tui đọc chắc cũng được tàu cho tiền rùi..nếu có chia cho tui 1 tí ..v́ tui cũng bị lây ghẻ tàu rùi.
