Ngày 9/5, các quan chức Mỹ giấu tên cho biết Lầu Năm Góc đă phát triển một loại tên lửa bí mật triển nhằm tiêu diệt các phần tử khủng bố mà không gây nguy hiểm cho dân thường xung quanh. Loại vũ khí này đă được sử dụng ở nhiều điểm nóng xung đột ở Trung Đông, gồm Libya, Syria, Iraq, Yemen và Somalia. Tên lửa này sử dụng 6 lưỡi dao lớn để tiêu diệt mục tiêu.

Mẫu tên lửa mới có tên R9X, là phiên bản nâng cấp của tên lửa Hellfire. R9X không sử dụng đầu đạn nổ mà dùng động năng cực mạnh để phá nát mục tiêu như xe hơi và nhà cao tầng.

Tính năng đặc biệt nguy hiểm của tên lửa là nó được trang bị 6 lưỡi dao thép dài, được phóng ra ngoài ngay trước khi va chạm mục tiêu và có thể cắt đứt bất cứ thứ ǵ trên đường bay. Đây là lư do R9X được đặt biệt danh là "Dao Ginsu bay" hay "Bom Ninja".

Theo Wall Street Journal, quân đội Mỹ bắt đầu phát triển tên lửa này từ năm 2011 như một nỗ lực giảm thương vong cho dân thường trong các chiến dịch tấn công khủng bố, bởi tên lửa Hellfire khi phát nổ sẽ tạo ra bán kính sát thương cao.

Lầu Năm Góc mới sử dụng tên lửa này vài lần, trong đó có chiến dịch tiêu diệt Jamal al-Badawi, phần tử khủng bố bị buộc tội chủ mưu vụ đánh bom tàu khu trục USS Cole vào 2000 khiến 17 binh sĩ thiệt mạng.

Đúng ra ḿnh chẳng cần giải thích làm ǵ, nhưng thấy cái bọn đầu đất quá ngu nên phải lên tiếng, biết là người ngu nhiều hơn người khôn nhưng cũng phài nói.
Một tên lửa dùng thuốc nổ khi đánh trúng vào một chiếc xe hay một ngôi nhà của bọn khủng bố, th́ chất nổ sẽ gây thương vong cho những người xung quanh v́ mảnh của tên lửa.
Nếu sử dụng tên lửa có 6 lưởi dao, th́ khi bắn trúng mục tiêu , tên lửa không nổ nhưng 6 lưởi dao sẽ chém tất că những ǵ nằm trong bán kính của 6 lưởi dao, những người ở gần đó sẽ không ảnh hưởng,
Thí dụ một chiếc xe khủng bố đang đậu ở chốn đông người, khi tên lửa bắn trúng xe th́ những người trong xe chị chém chết, nhưng những người chung quanh sẽ an toàn và vô hại.
