Trong lễ tưởng niệm vụ khủng bố 11/9 mới đây với sự tham gia của ông Trump đă khiến dư luận chú ư. Tại đây ông đă có cách thể hiện được cho là không phù hợp với không khí của buổi tượng niệm. Dưới đây là 1 số thông tin về luồng dư luận lên tiếng chỉ trích ông. Tổng thống Trump hôm qua cùng Đệ nhất phu nhân Melania bay đến bang Pennsylvania dự lễ tưởng niệm các nạn nhân trên chuyến bay 93 của United Airlines lao xuống đất trong vụ khủng bố ngày 11/9/2001, NBC News đưa tin.

Xuất hiện trước những người ủng hộ ở sân bay, ông giơ cao hai nắm đấm tay, nghiến răng, gương mặt tỏ vẻ phấn khích để chào họ. Khoảnh khắc này được các phóng viên nhanh chóng chớp lấy và lan truyền trên mạng xă hội khiến tổng thống Mỹ bị chỉ trích dữ dội.

Công chúng cho rằng thái độ và cử chỉ hồ hởi của Trump hoàn toàn không phù hợp và thiếu nhạy cảm trong ngày quốc tang của nước Mỹ. Một người nhận xét Trump đến dự một sự kiện vô cùng trang trọng nhưng hành động của ông lại như thể đang ở trong một cuộc biểu t́nh.

"Tôi chưa bao giờ thấy háo hức với bất kỳ điều ǵ như Trump đối với ngày 11/9", người khác b́nh luận.

"Đây là dịp kỷ niệm một trong những thảm kịch tồi tệ nhất trong lịch sử Mỹ và Donald Trump rất phấn khích!", người khác viết.

"Người đàn ông này chưa bao giờ thất bại trong việc chứng minh với những người chú ư đến ḿnh rằng ông ta thực sự có vấn đề", một người nhận xét.Gần 3.000 người đă thiệt mạng vào ngày 11/9 17 năm trước, khi 4 chiếc máy bay bị các phần tử khủng bố tấn công và cướp quyền điều khiển để lao vào các ṭa nhà ở Mỹ. Tổ bay trên chuyến 93 của United Airlines đă khống chế thành công âm mưu của không tặc và để phi cơ lao xuống cánh đồng ở Pennsylvania. 44 người, bao gồm 4 tên khủng bố, thiệt mạng.

Gần một thập kỷ sau, Osama bin Laden, thủ lĩnh của mạng lưới al-Qaeda, kẻ chủ mưu của vụ khủng bố, bị đặc nhiệm Mỹ tiêu diệt.

Phát biểu tại lễ tưởng niệm, ông Trump khẳng định cánh đồng Pennsylvania đă trở thành tượng đài về sự kiên cường của người Mỹ.

"Đài tưởng niệm này là một lời nhắn gửi tới thế giới: nước Mỹ sẽ không bao giờ khuất phục trước bạo ngược", ông nói. "Chúng tôi vinh danh sự hy sinh của họ bằng lời cam kết không bao giờ nao núng trước quỷ dữ và sẽ làm bất kỳ điều ǵ để nước Mỹ được an toàn".

Ông cũng công bố dịp kỷ niệm này là "Ngày Yêu nước 2018".

Năm ngoái, ông Trump và bà Melania lần đầu tưởng niệm vụ khủng bố 11/9 tại Nhà Trắng và tổ chức mặc niệm vào đúng thời điểm không tặc lái chiếc máy bay đầu tiên lao vào ṭa tháp đôi của Trung tâm Thương mại Thế giới ở New York.
