Bac Ninh imposes social distancing on Que Vo District
Bac Ninh Province’s authorities has decided to impose social distancing on Que Vo district from 3:00 pm on May 20.
The move is taken in a bid to prevent spread of COVID-19, said Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee.
Local residents in the aforesaid district were asked to stay at home and should only go out if really neccessary and keep a distance of at least two meters from each other.
All gatherings of more than two persons outside the workplace, schools, and hospitals are banned.
Earlier, the northern province had imposed social distancing on district-level administrative units including Bac Ninh city, Thuan Thanh, Yen Phong, Tu Son, Tien Du and Luong Tai districts.
Bac Ninh is currently the second biggest COVID-19 hotspot in Viet Nam with 377 local infection cases since the fourth wave of local transmissions began on April 27./.
