SAN DIEGO, California (NV) – Sự kiện một y tá phòng cấp cứu bị dương tính với COVID-19 sau khi được chích vaccine là điều nhắc nhở mọi người rằng rửa tay, giữ khoảng cách an toàn và đeo khẩu trang vẫn là điều rất cần thiết trong năm 2021.

Theo bản tin của ABC News hôm Thứ Tư, 30 Tháng Mười Hai, ông Matthew W., 45 tuổi, y tá phòng cấp cứu ở San Diego, được chích vaccine do Pfizer chế tạo hôm 18 Tháng Mười Hai, và nói với đài truyền hình KGTV, thuộc hệ thống ABC, rằng chỉ cảm thấy bị mỏi chỗ cánh tay được chích.

Sáu ngày sau đó, trong khi làm việc ở khu vực điều trị COVID-19 tại bệnh viện, ông Matthew cảm thấy ớn lạnh, đau nhức bắp thịt và mệt mỏi. Cuộc thử nghiệm tại bệnh viện sau đó xác nhận rằng ông bị nhiễm COVID-19.

Bác Sĩ Christian Ramers, chuyên gia về bệnh truyền nhiễm tại Family Health Centers ở San Diego, nói với đài KGTV rằng đây không phải là điều quá bất ngờ và có một số lý do để giải thích việc này.

Đầu tiên là các bệnh nhân không có được sự bảo vệ ngay sau khi chích ngừa COVID-19.

Bác Sĩ Ramers cho hay “Chúng tôi biết từ các kết quả thử nghiệm rằng vaccine sẽ mất khoảng từ 10 đến 14 ngày sau khi chích để bạn bắt đầu có sự bảo vệ.”

Ngay cả sau 10 đến 14 ngày đó, người được chích ngừa vẫn phải cần được liều vaccine thứ nhì để có được sự bảo vệ hoàn toàn.

Bác Sĩ Ramers nói thêm “Liều vaccine đầu tiên chỉ cho khoảng 50% sự bảo vệ và bạn sẽ cần liều thứ nhì để lên tới mức 95%.”

Ngoài ra cũng còn có một lý do khác để giải thích trường hợp của y tá Matthew, đó là thời gian ủ bệnh của COVID-19 có khi lâu tới 14 ngày. Do vậy, ông Matthew cũng có thể đã bị lây nhiễm trước khi được chích ngừa hôm 18 Tháng Mười Hai.

Cả hai điều này đều là sự nhắc nhở rằng vaccine không phải là thuốc tiên. Các chuyên gia cho biết việc dẹp được dịch sẽ cần nhiều thời gian và người dân phải tiếp tục tuân hành các biện pháp vệ sinh phòng ngừa căn bản như giữ khoảng cách, đeo khẩu trang và thường xuyên rửa tay.

Theo Bác sĩ Ramers thì “Chúng ta vẫn nghe giới y tế rất lạc quan nói rằng đây là sự khởi đầu của chấm dứt dịch bệnh, nhưng sẽ cần nhiều thời gian, từ nhiều tuần tới nhiều tháng, để vaccine đến với tất cả mọi người.” (V.Giang)

Theo tui thâ'y khả năng co' thể do 3 ly' do :

1)Như 2 bạn đã no'i cần chi'ch đủ 2 mũi .
2) Vaccine không phải hiệu nghiệm vơ'i tâ't cả mọi người .
3) Vaccine ngừa bịnh chư' không phải trị bịnh .Nê'u y ta' này bị nhiễm trươ'c khi chi'ch , nên y ta' đo' mơ'i xe't nghiệm dương ti'nh sau khi chi'ch ngừa .

chích 2 mũi vẫn bị nhiễm Ncovid như thường nhưng sẽ bị nhẹ và không dẫn đến tử vong, giống như chích ngừa cúm mùa hằng năm thôi, chứ không phải được miễn dịch vĩnh viễn

Sẽ có nhiều người tưởng vaccine có hiệu nghiệm ngay, trong nếp sống hàng ngày đâm chủ quan hơn bình thường. Cái đấy là sự tai hại.
