"the ultrasonic fingerprint sensing technology" that Xiaomi introduces, is not going to drive dramatic upgrades at this time when users were sticking to the same smartphone for a longer duration of time.
Since you're either an Iphone or Galaxy user, you would not take chances to switch to another flagship phone (specially one from a Chinese company) just because it has a new "Ultrasonic fingerprint sensing technology" (which not many people think it's a significant technology changing).
