Bộ trưởng Bộ An ninh Nội địa Kristi Noem đã được xe cứu thương đưa đến một bệnh viện ở khu vực Washington, DC vào thứ Ba.
Noem, 53 tuổi, là trung tâm của các cuộc biểu tình của phe cánh tả về chiến dịch đàn áp mạnh tay nạn nhập cư bất hợp pháp của bà.

Noem bị dị ứng và được đưa đi điều trị để hết sức thận trọng.




“Bộ trưởng Noem đã bị dị ứng hôm nay. Bà đã được đưa đến bệnh viện vì quá thận trọng,” Trợ lý Bộ trưởng Tricia McLaughlin cho biết trong một tuyên bố với Fox News. “Bà ấy tỉnh táo và đang hồi phục.”




Bà được cho là vẫn tỉnh táo và đã nói chuyện với đội an ninh của mình tại bệnh viện.




Theo nhà báo độc lập Nick Sortor, xe cứu thương của Noem được hộ tống bởi nhiều xe của Sở Mật vụ.
