Trong thời đại 4.0, khi người ta dùng công nghệ để nâng cao dân trí, thúc đẩy tự do ngôn luận, thì có một số người lại tận dụng công nghệ để bóp nghẹt tiếng nói của nhân dân. Xin giới thiệu: Mytel – mạng viễn thông “hợp tác quốc tế” giữa quân đội Myanmar và… ai cũng biết là ai rồi đấy!
Không phải ngẫu nhiên mà Mytel trở thành con gà đẻ trứng vàng cho chính quyền quân sự Myanmar. Với sự hậu thuẫn từ những “người bạn” phương Bắc, các quan chức Cộng Sản Việt Nam đã không ngần ngại nhúng tay vào một dự án giúp quân đội Myanmar kiểm soát viễn thông, theo dõi, đàn áp người dân. Khi người dân Myanmar xuống đường phản đối chính quyền độc tài, hệ thống mạng viễn thông do Mytel vận hành lại trở thành công cụ để theo dõi, giám sát, cắt liên lạc. Có ai đó nói về “tinh thần quốc tế vô sản”, nhưng hóa ra là giúp đỡ nhau bóp cổ nhân dân chứ không phải đấu tranh cho tự do!
Mới hôm nào còn khoe Viettel vươn tầm thế giới, hôm nay lại thấy đế chế viễn thông này gắn bó mật thiết với những kẻ đàn áp nhân quyền. Lợi nhuận kiếm được từ máu và nước mắt của người dân Myanmar có làm ai đó trăn trở không? Hay chỉ cần tiền chảy về là đủ để tiếp tục giấc mơ “phát triển bền vững” trên lưng nhân dân?
Từ Việt Nam đến Myanmar, từ những dự án “hợp tác” đầy mờ ám đến những phi vụ kinh tế phục vụ chính quyền độc tài, người ta lại thấy một sự thật phũ phàng: quyền lực không bao giờ ngần ngại bắt tay với cái ác, miễn là còn lợi ích để chia chác.
Một ngày nào đó, khi lịch sử sang trang, khi những kẻ tiếp tay cho độc tài bị đưa ra ánh sáng, liệu họ có còn dám vỗ ngực tự hào? Hay lại chối bỏ trách nhiệm như những kẻ quen trốn trong bóng tối?

With the support of "friends" from the North, Vietnamese Communist officials did not hesitate to get involved in a project that helps the Myanmar military control telecommunications, monitor and oppress the people. When the people of Myanmar took to the streets to protest against the dictatorship, the telecommunications network operated by Mytel became a tool to monitor, supervise and cut off communication. Someone talked about "proletarian internationalism", but it turned out to be helping each other to strangle the people, not fighting for freedom!
Just yesterday, Viettel was boasting about its global reach, but today, we see this telecommunications empire closely associated with those who oppress human rights. Does the profit earned from the blood and tears of the people of Myanmar make anyone worry? Or is the money flowing in enough to continue the dream of “sustainable development” on the backs of the people?
From Vietnam to Myanmar, from shady “cooperation” projects to economic deals serving the dictatorial government, people see a harsh truth: power never hesitates to join hands with evil, as long as there are benefits to share.
One day, when history turns a new page, when those who assist dictators are brought to light, will they still dare to proudly beat their chests? Or will they deny responsibility like those who are used to hiding in the dark?
