Không cần đến máy ảnh hay phụ kiện đắt tiền, một chiếc điện thoại kết hợp phần mềm biên tập ảnh cũng có thể cho ra đời những thước phim tilt-shift tuyệt đẹp.

Nhiếp ảnh gia Stu Kennedy đã sử dụng kỹ thuật time-lapse (tua nhanh thời gian) để quay thị trấn quê nhà Lincoln (Anh) bằng điện thoại Samsung Galaxy S II tích hợp camera 8 megapixel. Sau đó, ông dùng phần mềm tạo ảnh tilt-shift để tạo hiệu ứng cho video như thể người ta đang quan sát một thế giới đồ chơi thu nhỏ.

Hiện nay, thiết bị hỗ trợ chụp ảnh tilt-shift khá đắt, như Canon bán 2 loại ống kính này cho máy ảnh DSLR với giá 2.000-2.400 USD. Tác phẩm của Kennedy cho thấy ai có thể thỏa mãn đam mê với "đạo cụ" đơn giản là smartphone và các phần mềm như After Effects và Sony Vegas.
