Dù có đem 100 ngàn vệ binh quốc gia đến Los Angeles cũng không dẹp được biểu tình bởi vì vệ binh quốc gia, chỉ được lệnh bảo vệ các cơ sở liên bang, nhưng không được quyền bắt người.
Muốn bắt những người biểu tình, các vệ binh quốc gia phải được tạm thời tuyên thệ trở thành cảnh sát và quyền này nằm ở Tổng thống nếu Tổng thống tuyên bố có nội loạn.
Do đó bạo động chỉ chấm dứt đến khi nào Tổng Thống Trump công bố có nội loạn.
Việc trông cậy vào cảnh sát dẹp biểu tình bạo động rất mong manh, vì ông cảnh sát trưởng được bà thị trưởng bổ nhiệm. Ông xếp cảnh sát mà mạnh tay với những người biểu tình thì có cơ hội cuốn gói về vườn rất sớm.
Bà thị trưởng Los Angeles thì đã họp báo 2-3 lần nói: Dân thiệt hay dân lậu gì cũng là dân trong thành phố của bà nên bà phải bảo vệ. Ông thống đốc thì nói mấy người dân bất hợp pháp lo làm ăn, đâu có đụng tới ai. Chuyện biểu tình chống phá là do ông Trump dàn cảnh.
Trong ngày nay nghe các đài cánh tả nói: Biểu tình rất ôn hoà. Thượng nghị sỹ Cory Booker nói: biểu tình ôn hoà.
Kamala Harris nói: biểu tình ôn hoà.
Thượng nghị sỹ Elizabeth Warren nói: biểu tình ôn hoà.
Dân biểu Maxine Waters nói biểu tình ôn hoà cần cho cơ hội để họ trở thành công dân.
Thống đốc California nói: biểu tình ôn hoà.
Thị trưởng Los Angeles nói: biểu tình ôn hoà.
Xếp cảnh sát Los Angeles nói: biểu tình ôn hoà.
Tuy nhiên hảng Google cho biết chỉ bị đốt nhẹ có 5 chiếc Waymo trị giá sơ chỉ có 1.5 triệu đô. Biểu tình chống chính phủ mà đốt xe của Google thì khó hiểu. Nhưng Google cũng là công ty theo chủ trương đại đồng, mở cửa biên giới mà than phiền gì.
Thêm xe cảnh sát bị đốt chiều nay, cảnh sát phải trốn dưới gầm freeway vì sợ ném đá.
Hiện giờ người biểu tình không phá được các cơ sở chính phủ nên quay qua phá các cơ sở tư nhân.
Ở San Francisco, cảnh sát đang hổn chiến với Antifa trước trung tâm di trú.
